Jotun Solvalitt Aluminum Paint is a coating product using aluminum pigments, providing a durable and aesthetically pleasing coating for surfaces exposed to high temperatures with heat resistance up to 600 °C. Solvalitt Alu is a 1-component dry paint based on silicone acrylic. This product is compatible with all products in the heat-resistant Jotatemp range. The product is suitable for insulating and non-insulating surfaces and can be used as a primer, midcoat or finish coat in atmospheric environments. Easy to apply with a simple one-component paint formula. Solvalitt Alu protects against chalking and is a variant of the Solvalitt product, offering 14 color options that are stable at high temperatures. Tinting outside the MCI system is possible (with some limitations).

Drying and curing times are determined under controlled temperature conditions and relative humidity below 85% and at the average dry thickness of the product.
Freshly applied Solvalitt paint films may have lower mechanical properties than designed. However, this effect can be overcome by heating the paint system to 200°C for 1 hour.
Surface dry: the dry stage where when lightly pressed on the paint film, it will not leave fingerprints or feel sticky.
Dry to Foot: The minimum time before the paint film can withstand being walked on without leaving marks or damage.
Dry to apply the next coat, minimum: the shortest recommended time before the next coat can be applied.

This industrial paint product should be stored below 25°C and in accordance with the safety regulations of each country. It is best to store the product in a dry, cool place with good ventilation. Keep away from heat sources and ignition sources. The product container must be tightly closed.

SHELF LIFE: 24 months at 23°C. High temperatures will shorten shelf life and may cause the paint to gel. Please transport carefully. Stir well before use.
